It looks like the Tamagotchi Uni party hosted by Bandai Spain in Madrid was awesome! This event is one of many that will occur over the next few weeks as a part of the World Tamagotchi Tour to celebrate the announcement, and release of the Tamagotchi Uni globally! Several fans attended the event and we’re so grateful for them sharing their experiences, videos, and pictures with us.

The event was held at Uñas Chung Lee, a colorful night club on June 18th, 2023 at 5:00 PM. This event was loaded with surprises and even giveaways, jealous much! At the entrance Bandai Spain placed a Tamagotchi Uni banner and graphics by the entrance to welcome fans.

First off when you entered the event, fans walked through the halls and saw Tamagotchi graphics from both the Tamagotchi Original and Uni, and Mametchi was on display!

In a showcase there was the Tamagotchi Uni in both Purple and Pink and even the Tamagotchi Pix Party and the Tamagotchi Original! The graphics also featured some history about when Tamagotchi arrived in Europe.

At the main stage, the venue was super colorful and featured Tamagotchi graphics everywhere, there were panels on the walls, displays, Gashapon machines, the Tamagotchi Uni commercial playing, and even Tamagotchi graphics projected on the dance floor, and Tamagotchi Uni character stickers on the floor too! Banners hanging from the ceiling, including ones of the UFO we saw in prior teaser videos.

Then there was a huge wall, or a step and repeat if you will, with the Tamagotchi Uni logo, and characters in different accessories surrounding a large Tamagotchi Uni which is where Bandai Spain facilitated live Tamagotchi Uni demos! Fans were Abel to put them on their wrist and play around with them!

Twin Melody was performing with Mametchi on stage! How cute is Mametchi dancing with Twin Melody? We were told the show was great and fans were really excited to see the Twin Melody brought in the younger generation. Nacho Vega was the entertainer that kept the crowd cheering and going the entire event.

There was a lot of fun including Tamagotchi face painting, we’re so impressed at how well these came out! How cute is Kuchipatchi?

Also, Bandai Spain gave away Tamagotchi Uni’s to 3 lucky guests, and some Tamagotchi Originals through raffles! One of our followers, luna.mme on Instagram won a Tamagotchi Uni in Pink! We are so happy for them! Imagine getting your hands on the Tamagotchi Uni a month before the official release?

Guests were also treated to a goodie bag on their way out which included Tamagotchi Original stickers (the ones we’ve seen recently in Japan), a pamphlet on the Tamagotchi Uni, and a Tamagotchi Uni lanyard, how awesome is that? This lanyard looks to be unique to the event and not the two Bandai is selling as apart of the Tamagotchi Uni release.
Overall this event looks like a huge hit, we cannot wait to see more counties announcing their parties as a part of the World Tamagotchi Tour. As we hear about them, we’ll be sure to share them out because you do NOT want to miss them. Let’s all globally celebrate the Tamagotchi Uni!

Unique. The Tamagotchi Uni is all about three core competencies, and unique is one of them. There are many ways the Tamagotchi Uni is unique, but the ability for your Tamagotchi to wear up to four accessories at once? That’s unique!

You heard that right. In a recent YouTube video posted by RBB Today, a popular trend information news website the host, Harukan visits the Tamagotchi booth at the 2023 Tokyo Toy Show and gets a product tour from one of the Bandai hosts. During that demonstration the Bandai host explains that each Tamagotchi Uni character (presumably adults) can wear up to four characters, which really focuses on the unique theme of the Tamagotchi Uni.

We’ve seen screenshots before of several characters wearing multiple accessories, and this seems like so much fun! You can also visit the Tama Square and the Tama Fashion within the Tamaverse will have global fashion on display! You can even register your Tamagotchi characters outfit and share it with the world.

This feature really reminds us of the Travel Center on TamaTown, where you could visit various locations and bring a souvenir back to your Tamagotchi! Bandai has brought back the aspect of traveling to the upcoming Tamagotchi Uni, and we’re really excited about it.

First off Tama Travel is a location within the Tama Square on the Tamaverse on the Tamagotchi Uni. When visiting Tama Travel, you’ll choose a tour to go on a globetrotting adventure. Making memories that will last forever! Simply choose the desired location, and pay for your ticket. It looks like tickets will cost 2,000 Gotchi. You’ll be joined by others in the Tamaverse on your adventure.

Featured in a recent YouTube video from the 2023 Tokyo Toy Show is a more detailed review of the Tama Travel feature. What we find really adorable are the animations within Tama Travel. Not only will you see a Tamagotchi airplane, but you’ll also see your Tamagotchi sitting inside the Tamagotchi airplane in their seat along with other characters, how adorable is that?
Do you think Tamagotchi’s have Global Entry? It’s also adorable seeing them on a gondola too.

You’ve been asking, and it looks like we’ve got the answer. In the RBB Today’s YouTube video which features an exclusive interview with a Bandai staff member at the 2023 Tokyo Toy Show. The Bandai staff member provides great detail about the Tamagotchi Uni, and even some hands-on demonstrations.

One thing that caught our eye is at the Bandai staff member mentions that Tamagotchi Uni’s will connect together using infrared rays, similar to the technology featured in the Tamagotchi Smart. This appears to be a newer type of infrared technology compared to what we’ve seen in the Tamagotchi Connection series. It’s probably safe to assume the the infrared receivers are at the top of the device nested behind that Wi-Fi symbol.

What will connecting two Tamagotchi Uni’s allow us to do? The Bandai staffer elaborates that when connecting Uni’s together, you’ll be able to play four games together, exchange items which will allow you to change your Tamagotchi into something different, and more. Can we just say we’re so excited for the return of Tamagotchi games via connection?

45 notesYou’ve been asking, and we’ve got the answer. At the Tamagotchi Uni Launch Party in NYC on June 27th, 2023 we had the opportunity to not only attend, but get some hands-on time with the Tamagotchi Uni. We were actually lucky enough to be able to play with Tara Badie, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America, Senior Director Brand Strategy’s Tamagotchi Uni! How awesome is that? We also took one home as well, and are going to be answering your questions!
The Tamagotchi Uni is similar to the Tamagotchi Smart in some ways, including the ability to wear it on your wrist as a watch, and we love that! However this model is a bit different. To trigger the watch face screen on your Tamagotchi Uni, simply press A + C buttons together and you’ll see the watch face. There are several styles to choose from too! You can event edit the formatting of the time and date too ensuring it’s customized to your preferences!
